International Swimmer Embarks to Canada

International Swimmer Elizabeth Fry left the beaches of Port Sanilac to swim across to Port Franks, Ontario (34.5 miles).
Captain Wayne McCarty and additional support from Captain Kirk Remsberg and crew providing straight line navigation, wind direction and speed information well into the night!

A video from our annual Fireworks celebration. Every year, the Village of Port Sanilac hosts a July 4th parade and fireworks display down at the Harbor. Live music down at the Harbor Park kicks off the evening as people gather, bring their lawn chairs and prepare for the celebration. This year, the Pride of Michigan joined us for the fireworks docking at the Harbor and Oceanides displayied the American flag across the docks.

A video from our annual Blessing of the Fleet event down at the Harbor for Memorial Day. Every year, the Harbor puts on a Memorial Day celebration commemorating all of our veterans. This boat parade around the Harbor starts with a service in the park, a live band performance and concludes with a BBQ Chicken Dinner hosted down at the Harbor Park.

PORT SANILAC ANTIQUE & VINTAGE SHOW
The Port Sanilac Antique Boat show and Camper/Trailer show has partnered together to create a wonderful display of vintage campers, trailers, antique wooden boats, classic cars & model boats. Live music compliments this great display as well as an award ceremony. The TCT (Tin Can Tourist group) has an excellent array of historically accurate trailers and campers. Come and enjoy the days of rumbling tailpipes and mahogany decks cruising the lakes and rivers!
PORT SANILAC BLUES FESTIVAL
The Port Sanilac Blues Festival is a funfilled summer event with great food, live music and fun people. Blues bands from all around come to this event and its hosted down at the Harbor Park. Free admission to all so bring your lawn chairs and set up shop right in the park! It is sponsored by the Michigan Council for Arts and Cultural Affairs, Sanilac Consortium for the Arts, The Detroit Blues Society and the Village of Port Sanilac Downtown Development Authority, operated solely by a volunteer Board of Directors.
